The Inaugural Aussie Bloggers Conference

Inspired by the blogging phenomenon that is Blogher, a small group of fabulous women bloggers have been busy working over the last six months to put together the inaugural Aussie Bloggers Conference or ABC.

ABC is going to be a day-long program aimed at getting bloggers from all over the country together to learn more about blogging, networking and creating great content. It is being held in Sydney on Saturday March 19, 2011.

It will be an amazing day with a diverse range of bloggers in attendance, ranging from mummy bloggers, personal bloggers, fat acceptance, art, craft and more. The conference is open to everyone, but if you look at the attendance list you will find many of Australia’s finest female bloggers are going to be there.

The tagline for ABC is ‘celebrating blogging, celebrating you’. And that is the spirit with which the conference has been planned.

The conference won’t be just sit and listen affair. Most sessions will be utilising a panel setup where attendees can ask questions and contribute to the conversation. The day will end with a collection of live blog readings, highlighting some of the best Aussie blog writing on the web.

There are still a small number of tickets left for the conference, so if you have ever wanted to meet the people behind the words of some of your favourites blogs, or just get to know some amazing women in real life, ABC provides a fabulous opportunity to do so.
