My Quit Smoking Challenge DAY TWO

I’m running a bit behind with my quit smoking blog, so this post will be a short one. Day Two has fallen on a Sunday and I began the day feeling like I was about to climb Mount Everest without oxygen. So strong is my addiction, I’m worried that come Quit Day (6th March), I just won’t be able to do it. Fortunately I have a back-up plan in that I’ve already reserved my place at Mark Stephen’s free quit smoking seminar on March 13th.

Kate at Allen & Unwin has arranged for me to speak to Mark Stephens tomorrow morning and I’m hoping he will have some tips on how to conquer my fears about Saturday.

Things started to look up later in the day when I read Day Two of the Think Quit book. On page 97 you’ll find the Chi Kung Visualisation: The Inner Smile which I found is very useful for relaxing the body before sleep. This is my second reading of the book and I’ve actually been using The Inner Smile as a sleeping aid for about a month now. It really works!
