Australian Women Online is a magazine style website and online community for women over 30. Our key demographic is Australian and NZ women, but the website also receives a significant number of visitors from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Accolades: On 24 January 2008 we were selected by the National Library of Australia (NLA) as an electronic publication of national significance and lasting cultural value. Only 1 per cent of websites are selected for inclusion into the NLA’s national databases and Pandora web-archive, an achievement we are very proud of here at Australian Women Online.

Deborah Robinson - Editor & Feature Articles Writer
The founder of Australian Women Online, Deborah is a freelance writer and editor of the site. The mother of two sons aged 17 and 20, Deborah resides in Sydney where she works full-time writing, editing and running AWO. Deborah’s interests include a range of women’s issues and the CP80 Internet Zoning Initiative.

A trained teacher and education consultant, Danielle resides in Melbourne with her husband and teenage daughter. Danielle writes product reviews and feature articles for the AWO website. Annette Piper - Forums Moderator
Married to a farmer/grazier/pilot and the mother of twin girls aged 7 and a boy aged 10. Lyn Prowse-Bishop, MVA, ASO is the manager of Executive Stress Office Support, a business established in February 2000 to provide global executive assistance, office support and admin services to independent consultants, professionals, and small businesses. Lyn resides in Queensland with her husband and two children.

Gillian Bouras - Articles Contributor
Australian born Gillian Bouras was a teacher in Victorian secondary schools before unexpectedly migrating to Greece with her Greek husband and two sons in 1980. A third son was born in Athens in 1981. Gillian now lives in the Peloponnese, but still makes the occasional trip back to Australia. (She will always be Aussie!!). As a journalist, Gillian has been published in six countries. She has also published eight books, six with Penguin Australia.
